     Mr. Perleberg represents a broad array of clients in the technology, hospitality, and entertainment industries, including software and hardware companies, food and beverage businesses (e.g., restaurants and breweries), entrepreneurs, filmmakers, and publishers and individual artists (e.g., musicians and writers). He is also very active in the arts and entertainment community.


    Working at the intersection of business and technology, Mr. Perleberg advises clients on complex technology and commercial transactions, including information technology licensing, trademark and brand protection, copyrights, technology maintenance and services, technology development and customization, marketing and advertising, as well as manufacturing, supply, distribution, and other agreements for products and services.


    Mr. Perleberg has significant experience in digital and new media platforms, advising clients on internet, e-commerce and entertainment transactions. He also assists celebrities and athletes assert their right of publicity against those making unauthorized use of their images or likenesses, including internet domain name disputes, as well as helping clients with defamation and other privacy matters.


    In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Perleberg spent over seven years working for IBM. In this position, he worked closely with software and hardware designers, marketing and sales teams, advertising agencies, and domestic and international strategic alliance partners gaining valuable insight and understanding of the business needs and pressures of both large and small companies.


    In addition to teaching music law for many years, Mr. Perleberg has worked on projects for Green Day, Pentatonix, Joe Bonamassa and many others.   In the world of film, Mr. Perleberg recently earned an IMDb credit for his work on 2018’s AHOCKALYPSE, a zombie-hockey horror movie that included cameos by NHL legends Barry Melrose and Kelly Chase.


    While the shelves and walls in Greg’s office include law books, diplomas and awards, his office is also filled with memorabilia from his decades of work with musicians, filmmakers, professional athletes, artists, and authors.
